Congratulations to Virgil from CVI Photography for his images that place in the top 20 for the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers contest.

You need to head over to Virgil's blog and enjoy his wonderful work.  It says something to have a Charleston Photographer place this well in an international competition.

Here is sample of his work, enjoy,

Second photographer

Although I don’t specialize in wedding photography – I do love second shooting weddings for other photographers. As a second shooter – my responsibility is usually to back-up the principle photographer, photographing the groomsmen, detail shots, and capturing various angles that the principle photographer would not be able to photograph. An example of this would be if the principle photographer is taking group shots with a wide angle lens – I would be capturing details and candid’s with a close-up or long lens.

Second shooting for me is fun because I get a chance to shoot outside my normal range and hang out with great photographers without the responsibility and the stress that comes with all the details and the album making!!

I get many requests to schedule weddings – but in all honestly – I simply prefer for recommend a photographer that is a specialist for such an important occasion.  I will schedule small weddings and courthouse weddings and or dinner receptions wear the couple do not need or want all of the extras that a big weeding deserves.  Most often these are wedding where both the bride and groom are getting married for the second time at an intimate ceremony and would like some good quality pictures for themselves and family members.

One of the most enjoyable aspects of working in the photographic industry is the challenge of solving the variety of problems you encounter in the process. To me, that's the name of the game.

Your images speak volumes about your company,

Let us make sure they are saying the right things!

It's not a mystery that polished and clean photography increases a businesses' credibility. It also increases sales by making it more comfortable for new customers to buy from you.
